POEM: MY FRIENDS ARE MY ESTATES

My friends are my estates even in my lonely states

They are my advisers when I’m confused and desperate

And are always beside me even in my moody days

To me they are veritable values that can never be measured

So much pleasure I derive from them that I will always Treasure

They are my comfort and discomfort

Giving all to me in equal proportion

Likened to precious stones is their friendship to me

Can’t joke with them cuz they mean the world to me

Always looking up to the sky and Say God I thank You

For giving me the kind of friends in whose hearts I can seek refuge

We argue we fight and we quarrel a lot but we are always together

So obviously because we have fought so many battles together

Despite all odds, separation and distances, we are always getting closer

And often times I can’t stop but wonder what has kept our love stronger

They are mine; I am theirs, this is a bond shared among us forever

Because that undying spirit of true friendship is always keeping us together

Hey, don’t try, don’t even dare, cuz nothing can separate and put us asunder

This bond that we share is too special that it will only get you wondering why

But don’t because you might never understand.

SMILING/HAPPINESS CHALLENGE DAY 29 (FRIDAY)

Wow! Wow! Wow! Today is the last day of the challenge. It’s been God (All Praises and Adoration to Him?) and you guys all through. You never know how far you can go until you start. It’s the last day of the challenge already and I must confess it’s been a worthwhile one. I love how we have connected over the days, I love how we discovered more about ourselves, I love how we looked forward to each day knowing a challenge was coming up and we were capable of achieving it, it has been beautiful! Kudos to you guys. Though my expectations of you guys participating on the blog wasn’t met, I really do appreciate you for being an ardent reader throughout. 2016 Review: Ikpefua Joy, My Year Review Hmmm...Don't even know where and how to start from. 2016 has been quite a year. 2016 to me has been one of those years I enjoyed unmerited favour and grace. God has been faithful despite my unfaithfulness. Yea, I was written off...I have been trodden upon and yes, I've been told to my face that I cannot attain the heights I'm striving so hard to attain because I don't have what it takes...and sometimes I'd believed that.
