MY COMMENT ON THE FUEL SUBSIDY REMOVAL

Disclaimer: This is my honest opinion. So I hope I won’t be crucified by my fellow angry Nigerians for airing my views #lolz#

Looking at the removal of fuel subsidy and its effect on average Nigerians, one would be so angry at this present government. So placing my emotions and unsatisfaction aside, I decided to look into what this fuel subsidy really means and entails. And at the end of the day, I came to a conclusion that the removal of fuel subsidy will actually do more good to Nigeria and Nigerians than harm. But how many Nigerians want to see it in that way. Even some who knows that the removal of the fuel subsidy is actually for our benefit would not want to agree in as much as they have never been in good terms with the current government.

Yes, when Jonathan tried removing it then, we all went nuts and form what was popularly known as #OccupyNigeria. If I can still recall vividly, for a whole week, cars were not allowed to move and tires were being burnt on usually busy commercial roads which even turned into a football pitch. The campaign was successful and Jonathan couldn’t go further with that decision anymore. So I really can’t stop but wonder why Nigerians are really keeping quiet on this one. The only places they have been venturing their anger is on social media.

Well I think, unlike the Jonathan led regime, Nigerians are now more informed and has begin to see that with the way Nigeria is going; fuel subsidy can be one of the best decisions to save this Country from its current crises (Only if you know what fuel subsidy really means though) Besides, during the past weeks, Nigerians have been used to buying a litre at 180,200 and even 250 per litre. So official price of 145# per litre should be manageable so far we wouldn’t have to queue for hours to get it.

So Mr President, I really do hope that the aim/reason for which the fuel subsidy was removed would be sincerely gained and at the end of the day make Nigerians smile again.

God has been faithful despite my unfaithfulness. Yea, I was written off...I have been trodden upon and yes, I've been told to my face that I cannot attain the heights I'm striving so hard to attain because I don't have what it takes...and sometimes I'd believed that. Obvious challenges has stared at my face that threatened my resolutions and determinations but it is amazing that amidst it, God has always proved His Supremacy and rulership over my life. 2016 has taught me a lot. So many lessons that miraculously turned to blessings. I've met people who have impacted and invested in my life more than I could have ever done. And seriously, Allyreads has been a tangible blessing to me. Belonging to this family, is a treasure that I hold so dear...love them all.. Who ...

Here, i will start with the lessons, and the first is not to trust in man But God only. Uhmmmm, there are times in our dear life that we put our hope in man not that we don't believe in what God can do But really cant say what happen not until it dawn on us that our only hope should be in God because He's the master planner of everything.      Secondly, i learnt that friendship have categories and you don't get Love in return from all friends (Smile). Its not that they hate you But have some other people on top of there friendship list, they might not be better than you do, But i got to know that no matter how you try, you cannot just force Love. Also, i got to understand the pain inner tears causes and the solution of crying the pains out to have an inner joy though not easy But one will just continue to hurt the mind. I will also like to talk ...
