PASSION! Where and What It can get You.

John. C. Maxwell in his book ‘leadership gold’ state that ‘Passion is an incredible asset ; every person but for especially leaders. It keeps us going when others quit. It becomes contagious and influences people to follow us. It pushes us through the toughest of times and gives us energy we do not know we possessed. It fuels us in the way that talent, opportunity, knowledge and great team cannot’. Hmmm! Take a deep breath. What do you think? John Maxwell has been a leader for almost Forty years now, so he definately knows what he is talking about. I believe we are all familiar with this advice that says ‘Find something you love to do so much that you will gladly do it for nothing; then learn to do it well that people are happy and willing to pay you for it’. Trust me, that is what great people with great achievement and accomplishment have done in thier career. But then, What is Passion itself? According to english mini dictionary, Passion is any great, strong and powerful emotion especially romantic love and hate. Passion is a strong will, a zeal, a determination, what you love doing and will go extra mile to achieve. For example, my own passion is to help people and putting smiles on thier face naturally with no strings attached. I’m also passionate about books especially the ones that gets me inspired and can help me become what and who i want to become. You want to find your potential? Following your passion is the key.

Passion can get you anywhere you want to to be and it can get you whatever you want. Following your passion might seem time consuming and time wasting at first, it might also seem like you lagging behind your mate but trust me, it will make you believe things you never would have believe, make you meet people you would never have met, attempt things you would never have attempt, motivate people you would never have motivated, learn life lessons you would never have learn and in the long run, make you accomplish what you could never have accomplished.
Your passion is what drives you, what keeps you going, what makes you believe that nothing is impossible. When you feel like quitting or giving up, yourpassion is always there to give you enough reasons not to. When you pursue what you are trully and really passionate about, it makes all the difference and give you an edge over your mate. Passiin fills you with energy and desire and it also fills you with a rage to win nomatter what comes your way.
Sincerely, passion is what has been driving me, it is what has always kept me going and i strongly believe that it will surely get me where i want and what i want. The earlier we realise this, the better it is for us to realise what we are passionate about and start following it. Always remember, Passion is a real difference maker. It seperate the Extra-ordinary from the Ordinary people…….

Inspirational: One Day

One day, when I was a freshman in high school, I saw a kid from my class was walking home from school. His name was Kyle.   It looked like he was carrying all of his books. I thought to myself, 'Why would anyone bring home all his books on a Friday? He must really be a nerd.' I had quite a weekend planned (parties and a football game with my friends tomorrow afternoon), so I shrugged my shoulders and went on. As I was walking, I saw a bunch of kids running toward him. They ran at him, knocking all his books out of his arms and tripping him so he landed in the dirt. His glasses went flying, and I saw them land in the grass about ten feet from him. He looked up and I saw this terrible sadness in his eyes. My heart went out to him. So, I jogged over to him as he crawled around looking for his glasses, and I saw a tear in his eye.   As I handed him his glasses, I said, 'Those guys are jerks.’ They really should get lives. 'He looked at me and said, 'Hey th...

INSPIRING STORY: LEARN TO CONTROL YOUR TEMPER

Once upon a time there was a little boy who was talented, creative, handsome, and extremely bright. A natural leader. The kind of person everyone would normally have wanted on their team or project. But he was also self-centered and had a very bad temper. When he got angry, he usually said, and often did, some very hurtful things. In fact, he seemed to have little regard for those around him, even friends. So, naturally, he had few. “But,” he told himself, “That just shows how stupid most people are!”  As he grew, his parents became concerned about this personality flaw, and pondered long and hard about what they should do. Finally, the father had an idea. And he struck a bargain with his son. He gave him a bag of nails, and a BIG hammer. “Whenever you lose your temper,” he told the boy, “I want you to really let it out. Just take a nail and drive it into the oak boards of that old fence out back. Hit that nail as hard as you can!” Of course, those weathered oak boards in th...
