POEM: I’M ME. I’M NOT BORN TO IMPRESS OTHERS

I’m only me. That is all I can be. No more, no less, so don’t second guess.

I love, I wish, I laugh. Some days I’m funny, others I’m not

I’ve been frustrated so much that I’ve wished sometimes that I could die.

Sometimes I’m in overdrive and I can’t stop and sometimes

I’m as slow and steady as a snail.

You may not like me but that’s okay because that’s me and how I will stay

So don’t expect that I’ll one day change for you.

I’m only me so what you think of me doesn’t matter

The only person I’m oblige to please is God my creator

I may be weird and be a talkative, but it shouldn’t bother you

It is who I’m and how I’m created so no need to impress you

I do what I love and love what I do. Your opinion isn’t needed

You either accept me the way I’m or excuse me and go your way

After all I wasn’t born to impress anyone but myself and God.

I’m only me so I don’t care about Criticisers or critics

I’m happy to be me. I may not be perfect but I’m at least honest

I might not be the best but I do my things differently from the rest

I never try to be anything I’m not so I don’t need creating false impression

If at all I need to impress people, it’s by my accomplishments and not my possessions

Because to me, impressing people is a valuable waste of time, energy and effort

So please take me as I’m or leave and let me be...........

2016 Review: Ikpefua Joy, My Year Review Hmmm...Don't even know where and how to start from. 2016 has been quite a year. 2016 to me has been one of those years I enjoyed unmerited favour and grace. God has been faithful despite my unfaithfulness. 2016 Review: Ayomide Oguntunde, 2016, My Blessings And Lessons So Far..

LESSON AND BLESSING THIS YEAR SO FAR....... The year 2016 has been a year full of great blessings and greater lessons. Here, i will start with the lessons, and the first is not to trust in man But God only. Uhmmmm, there are times in our dear life that we put our hope in man not that we don't believe in what God can do But really cant say what happen not until it dawn on us that our only hope should be in God because He's the master planner of everything. Secondly, i learnt that friendship have categories and you don't get Love in return from all friends (Smile). News: R. I. P to the Polytecnic, Ibadan Students who died in the Ghastly Motor Accident Yesterday Evening.

The Bus conveying the students With a sadness of heart, as a graduate of the Institution, I’m reporting the death of The Polytechnic Ibadan students from the department of Quantity Surveying on Ibadan/Oyo expressway yesterday Not fewer than six people, including students of the Polytechnic, Ibadan were said to have died in a fatal motor accidents that occurred on Ibadan/Oyo road yesterday. Thirteen others were said to be seriously injured. The accident according to the Vanguard newspaper happened at Omotunde Village, Oyo. Further details showed that the accident happened around 6:00 pm when a tire of the Hummer bus of the Quantity Surveying Department of the Institution which was conveying the students burst and somersaulted many times before flinging some of the passengers out. When the bus settled, four died immediately on the spot while two others with severe injuries died later.
