So I hope I won’t be crucified by my fellow angry Nigerians for airing my views #lolz# Looking at the removal of fuel subsidy and its effect on average Nigerians, one would be so angry at this present government. So placing my emotions and unsatisfaction aside, I decided to look into what this fuel subsidy really means and entails. And at the end of the day, I came to a conclusion that the removal of fuel subsidy will actually do more good to Nigeria and Nigerians than harm. But how many Nigerians want to see it in that way. Even some who knows that the removal of the fuel subsidy is actually for our benefit would not want to agree in as much as they have never been in good terms with the current government. Yes, when Jonathan tried removing it then, we all went nuts and form what was popularly known as #OccupyNigeria.
