SMILING/HAPPINESS CHALLENGE DAY 7 (THURSDAY)

Hello friends, hope you took yesterday’s challenge seriously? Too bad I couldn’t (Sad face) My Mum isn’t feeling fine so I just thought it wasn’t the right time to do that. I felt all I needed to do was call her and ask how she was doing and that was exactly what I did. But I’m surely going to do that when she get better. I hope you were able to put a call to your parents. How did that made them feel? I’m sure some might be surprised and wondering what was going on. Of course they should be since they are not used to such attitude from us. So I really do hope that we will include this habit in our routine and learn to do it at least once in a month or so.

Now let’s get to the task for today.

Try out a new food/meal, something you haven’t taken before, or you had a dislike for. Just explore!

For instance, I’m thinking of trying how rice and pap taste together. I have seen so many people eat it comfortably but I’ve never tried it. Oh well, I’m getting it today to fulfil the challenge so If you don’t hear from me, Look for me. It could be the Mixture of the Rice and Pap (lolz).

SMILING/HAPPINESS CHALLENGE DAY 29 (FRIDAY)

Wow! Wow! Wow! Today is the last day of the challenge. It’s been God (All Praises and Adoration to Him?) and you guys all through. You never know how far you can go until you start. It’s the last day of the challenge already and I must confess it’s been a worthwhile one. I love how we have connected over the days, I love how we discovered more about ourselves, I love how we looked forward to each day knowing a challenge was coming up and we were capable of achieving it, it has been beautiful! Kudos to you guys. Though my expectations of you guys participating on the blog wasn’t met, I really do appreciate you for being an ardent reader throughout. Today, we are going to pick at least two of those challenges and stick to them. Of course, we can pick more and that would even be way nicer. Just make sure you have at least two challenges and make them routine. I want us to view this challenge in a deeper way. View it as you putting your mind to achieving a goal and looking for...

INSPIRING STORY: LEARN TO CONTROL YOUR TEMPER

Once upon a time there was a little boy who was talented, creative, handsome, and extremely bright. A natural leader. The kind of person everyone would normally have wanted on their team or project. But he was also self-centered and had a very bad temper. When he got angry, he usually said, and often did, some very hurtful things. In fact, he seemed to have little regard for those around him, even friends. So, naturally, he had few. “But,” he told himself, “That just shows how stupid most people are!”  As he grew, his parents became concerned about this personality flaw, and pondered long and hard about what they should do. Finally, the father had an idea. And he struck a bargain with his son. He gave him a bag of nails, and a BIG hammer. “Whenever you lose your temper,” he told the boy, “I want you to really let it out. Just take a nail and drive it into the oak boards of that old fence out back. Hit that nail as hard as you can!” Of course, those weathered oak boards in th...

You've always had the flair for writing,  for literature,  for books,  for arts.  You are a very brilliant person so naturally you can survive in any class you find yourself - arts,  social sciences or pure sciences. Your parents have always being proud of you cause you've always blazed the trail.  What parents wouldn't be proud??? In primary school,  you were the best student and that saw you going for every competition and winning medals upon medals. When it was time for the "standard living" play,  the doctor spot was reserved for you. "Doctors are the smartest people in the world so you are the most suitable for the spot" your teacher had told your mom. Senior secondary school saw you sashaying effortlessly into the pure science classes,  you are a natural, just like Einstein.  you made A's with so much swags and ease.  Again your teachers,  parents, family members,  friends and village people said you can't waste y...
