INSPIRATIONAL: GO THE EXTRA MILE, IT'S NEVER CROWDED.

Do more than is required. The distance between someone who achieves their goals consistently and those who spend their lives merely following is ‘The Extra Mile’ (Grey Blair).
There is no passion to be found playing small-in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living (Nelson Mandela). The extra mile is never crowded because many people are not interested in going that way. ‘If you don’t love something, you are not going to go the extra mile, work the extra weekend, challenge the status quote as much’. Your talents determine what you can do, your motivation determines how much you are willing to do and your attitude determines how well you do it. Push yourself because no one is going to do it for you. Don’t limit your challenges,

challenge your limits. Go as far as you can see and you will see further. People of excellence go the extra mile and do what’s right. Shift your brilliance by going the extra mile without being told to do so. In simple terms, going extra mile is to make more effort than is expected of you. Being curious and enthusiastic can really help you go the extra mile. If you want to change your business, raise the bar. You want to be the best among your colleagues? It’s not a day’s job neither is it an easy task, you’ve to go the extra mile. Do things that the other person is not doing, make research that the other is not doing, get information that they are not getting, and then get the results they will never get. It’s the simple truth about going the extra mile.

An important principle of success in all walks of life and in all occupations is a willingness to " Go The Extra Mile "; which means the rendering of more and better service than that for which one is paid, and giving it in a positive mental attitude. Search wherever you will for a single sound argument against this principle and you will not find it, nor will you find a single instance of enduring success, which was not attained in part by its application.  The greatest benefit for going the extra mile is because It gives one the only logical reason for asking for increased compensation. If a man performs no more service than that for which he is being paid, then obviously he is receiving all the pay to which he is entitled. Anybody may earn a living without the habit of going the extra mile. And many do just that, but the economic security and luxuries available under the great Nigeria way of life are available only to the individual who makes this habit a part of his philosophy of life and lives by it as a matter of daily routine.

Go the Extra mile, it’s never crowded and there is no traffic jam around it. It does not matter how slowly you goes, as long as you do not stop. One of the most important principles of success is developing the attitude of going the Extra mile. Knowing is not enough, we must apply. Wiling is not enough, we must do. The ability to go the extra mile lies within your ear. Keep going. This is because there will be a lot of critics, just turn a deaf ear and keep going. ‘Don’t limit yourself. Many people limit themselves to what they think they can do. You can go as far as your mind lets you. What you believe, remember, you can achieve’ (Mary Kay Ash). ‘Everybody is breaking grounds; but you must break through! Everybody is scratching it but you must scratch it hard! Everybody is going but you must keep going extra miles! Dare to be exceptionally excellent and why not?’ (Isrealmore Ayovor).  Extra effort will only go unnoticed by people who didn’t deserve it in the first place. ‘You have options: you can go for it. You can do your best. You can go the extra mile. You can ask that favour. You can offer that help. You can be that friend. You can test that theory. You can break that barrier or Not’. It’s your choice. Going extra mile is breaking records, creating new paths and making additional achievements.

When everybody is stopping at how far they think they can go, make a difference, by going the extra mile. Go beyond your own limits and you will discover things beyond your imaginations. Don’t only know God, go the extra mile by getting closer to Him and communicating with him (the difference will show). There is always something so amazing at the other side. Going the extra mile though it’s not crowded has its own challenges and sacrifices and that is the obvious reason why a lot of people don’t go, but believe me, the reward will be worth the effort, the difference will clearly show.

POEM: I’M ME. I’M NOT BORN TO IMPRESS OTHERS

I’m only me. That is all I can be. No more, no less, so don’t second guess. I love, I wish, I laugh. Some days I’m funny, others I’m not   I’ve been frustrated so much that I’ve wished sometimes that I could die. Sometimes I’m in overdrive and I can’t stop and sometimes I’m as slow and steady as a snail. You may not like me but that’s okay because that’s me and how I will stay So don’t expect that I’ll one day change for you. I’m only me so what you think of me doesn’t matter The only person I’m oblige to please is God my creator I may be weird and be a talkative, but it shouldn’t bother you It is who I’m and how I’m created so no need to impress you I do what I love and love what I do. Your opinion isn’t needed You either accept me the way I’m or excuse me and go your way After all I wasn’t born to impress anyone but myself and God.   I’m only me so I don’t care about Criticisers or critics I’m happy to be me. A MUST READ: 13 AMAZING LOVE LESSONS

It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return but what is more painful is to love someone and never find the courage to tell the person how you feel. Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right ones so that     when we finally meet the right person we will know how to be grateful for that gift. Love is when you take away the feelings; passion and romance of a relationship and find out you still care for that person. When the door of happiness closes another one opens but often time we look so long at the closed door that we don’t see the one which has been open for us. The best kind of friends is the kind you can just be with; never say a word and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you’ve ever had. It is true that we don’t know what ...
